Looks wise,this sleek and simple 4x100-watt amp is pretty tasty; but we weren't sure about the massive set-up dials which gave a bit of a 'FisherPrice' feel. Despite this, the build quality seemed really good and there was a nice feel to the case. Installation was easy; with no problems hooking this up to our test car, and once fired up the JVC delivered quite a clean sound. However, there was a serious lack of guts, and not just down low but all through the power range. This was by no means a bad amp.
