JVC'S EXAD - EXCELLENCE THROUGH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES 2004 sees the launch by JVC of its new high-end brand EXAD. Designed to add an exclusive air to its high specification mobile entertainment products the initial select range contains four CD receivers with a full A/V multi-media centre to come later in the year.
An initial three-month ad campaign will launch the brand with a promotion aimed at driving ICE enthusiasts into specialist outlets to take advantage of a fully fitted price complete with three-year manufacturers warranty. The campaign will run in conjunction with the launch of a brand new website: JVCmobile.co.uk.
Lionel Irving, General Manager of JVC's Mobile Entertainment division explains; A good number of the general public tend to look at the dashboard of their vehicles and assume that if it has no DIN slot, then nothing can be done to upgrade the factory fitted system in their car. This country has some of the finest professional installers available, capable of modifying dashboards to accommodate an upgraded unit and still retain or in some cases improve upon the looks of the car's’ interior”
JVC believes that this skill base can be utilised to grow the market for high-end products and help customers to enjoy technologies such as MP3 and DAB in their vehicles without waiting for car manufacturers to develop their own offerings.
